With Polygon Streaming, there's no need for cloud GPU at any point of the process. Our breakthrough optimization process allows for the 3D assets’ mesh data and all of the texture maps and material properties to stream across platforms and devices. Unlike alternatives that require costly cloud GPU infrastructure and streaming pixels (video) to the end device, Polygon Streaming enabled content is adaptively rendered locally on the device while respecting device and network limitations. As a result, Polygon Streaming enables developers and creators to stream high-fidelity models where previously this was very costly to do so.
